The external hard drive enclosure cannot be detected via the IT15 USB4 port, while it works normally when connected to the USB-A port.

This is a compatibility issue rather than a hardware defect of the unit. Replacing the device will not resolve the problem.

The factory-installed firmware for the IT15 USB4 port is already the latest available version. User-side firmware updates for this interface are not supported by design.

Solutions:

Use a hard drive enclosure from another brand, or connect the storage device through the USB-A port. The USB-A port supports a speed of 10 Gbps with read/write speeds around 1 GB/s, sufficient for file transfer in most scenarios.
