Currently, our official website generally offers configurations with 32GB or 16GB RAM. You can purchase higher-capacity DDR modules to upgrade the memory according to your needs.

1. Exterior Chassis

• A5 2025 Edition: Champagne gold metal casing with a warm brown tone body finish;
• A5 Pro: Solid light silver gray chassis with black side port panel, creating a distinct visual differentiation.

2. Internal Expansion & Hardware Specifications

1) Storage Expansion

• A5: 1× M.2 2280 NVMe slot + 1× 2.5-inch SATA drive bay;
• A5 Pro: Dual M.2 slots (2280 NVMe + 2242 SATA) + an additional 2.5-inch SATA interface. It features one extra M.2 slot, enabling a higher maximum solid-state storage capacity.

2) USB-C Functionality

• A5: Type-C port only supports basic data transfer;
• A5 Pro: Two rear USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports support 15W reverse power delivery to charge mobile phones and peripherals, plus an extra Type-C port dedicated solely to data transfer. It offers more Type-C ports with enhanced functionality.

3. Reserved Hardware Mounts

The A5 Pro has a reserved hardware mounting position for a fingerprint reader on the top of the chassis, which is not available on the standard A5 model. The Pro variant also supports an optional built-in wireless charging module, a feature unavailable for the base A5.

3. Port Detail Differences

• A5 Pro features dual front USB-A ports, with rear USB ports including power delivery-capable Type-C connectors;
• The Type-C port on the standard A5 only handles data transfer and does not support reverse power supply;
• Both models come equipped with a 2.5G Ethernet port, dual HDMI 2.0 outputs, an SD card reader, and dual memory slots (max 64GB DDR4), with identical display output specifications.

4. Product Positioning & Summary

• A5 2025 Edition: Entry-level cost-effective model with wider CPU options and sufficient basic expansion capacity, ideal for daily office work and light media playback;
• A5 Pro: Advanced high-spec model with extra expansion slots, reverse power delivery over Type-C, and reserved mounting spaces for fingerprint readers/wireless charging. It caters to content creators and users with multiple peripherals or high-capacity multi-disk storage requirements.

There is no difference in interface functions and actual performance. However, they feature different designs and appearances, and their heat dissipation performance also varies. The A8 Max delivers better heat dissipation and higher stability under long-term high-load operation.

Compared with the standard version, the GEEKOM A5 Pro 2026 Edition is mainly upgraded with the AMD Ryzen 5 7530U processor, with power consumption reduced to 15W for better energy efficiency, paired with the new-generation IceBlast 3.0 cooling system for quieter operation.

The standard version uses the Ryzen 5 7430U with 28W power consumption, offering a lower price and higher cost-performance ratio.

The two models are basically the same in terms of memory, storage, ports, expandability and warranty policy.

Only the CPU is different; all other specifications remain identical.

Our PCs come with fixed configurations. After assembly, they will be safely packaged and shipped immediately. Therefore, after the order is confirmed, we cannot add additional components such as memory or SSD.

However, our systems are designed to support user self-upgrades. After receiving the PC, you can install compatible accessories by yourself.

Sorry, we do not provide memory modules for separate purchase. You can buy memory modules that meet the A8's specifications on platforms like Amazon. Recommended brands include Crucial, Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron.

We do not offer memory upgrades before shipment. All available configurations are listed on our official website. If you wish to upgrade the RAM, you may do so yourself after purchase.

Our memory (DDR) and solid-state drives (SSD) mainly use brands such as Kingston, Lexar, Wooposit, and Crucial. The prices of memory and SSD accessories are greatly affected by market fluctuations. In addition, to avoid batch failure issues, we do not fix the use of the same model of accessories for a specific product line.

If you purchase our product, the 32GB memory configuration you receive may consist of a single 32GB memory module or two 16GB memory modules. The 16GB memory configuration may consist of a single 16GB memory module or two 8GB memory modules.

The wireless keyboard and mouse come with a USB receiver. Open the cover on the bottom of the mouse, take out the receiver from inside, then plug it into your computer.

• Light load: The power consumption will drop below 15W (around 5–10W) for low heat generation and long battery life.
• Full load: It can operate at an elevated power level for a short time, with a peak power consumption of approximately 25W.

Only the Mega Game G1 has it, and this machine comes with a dedicated graphics card - RTX 4060. However, it is no longer on sale now.

Only our A9 Mega Mini PC is equipped with a microphone; all other Mini PC do not have one.

All models on our official website support Linux. They come pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro, and users can also install Linux-based operating systems (such as Ubuntu) on their own.

The hardware is fully compatible with no driver issues, making them ideal for Linux-based scenarios including development and office work.

For mini PC: only the basic components of the Windows system are included, and there is no Office software.

Laptops additionally come with a PC Manager developed by GEEKOM, which supports driver updates, automatic BIOS updates, data backup and other functions.

• Playable: The hardware configuration of the A7 exceeds the minimum system requirements of the game (minimum requirement: GTX 1650 level graphics card).
• Recommended Settings: At 1080P resolution with medium graphics preset, you can get a relatively smooth gaming experience. It is highly recommended to enable AMD FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution) or XeSS upscaling technology in the game settings, which can significantly boost frame rate and deliver much smoother gameplay.

3. Advanced Recommendations

• Memory Capacity: Please ensure your device is installed with 32GB dual-channel memory (16GB×2). Since integrated graphics share system memory, large-capacity dual-channel memory is critical for improving performance in AAA games.
