Fault description:
No Bluetooth option in system settings, no Bluetooth toggle in quick settings, no Bluetooth category in Device Manager, Bluetooth functionality is completely unavailable.
Section 1: Troubleshooting Scope Determination (3 Minutes)
In Device Manager → View → Show hidden devices.
If Bluetooth appears grayed or with exclamation, uninstall and restart to redetect.
If there is no Bluetooth toggle switch and the Bluetooth driver is also not displayed in Device Manager, this indeed suggests that the wireless network card module may be physically damaged. It is recommended to contact GEEKOM Customer Service for assistance.
If there is no Bluetooth toggle switch but the Bluetooth driver is present in Device Manager, this indicates an abnormality with the system driver functionality. Please proceed to Section 2 to reinstall the Bluetooth driver.
Section 2: Install or Repair Drivers(10 Minutes)
Follow these steps to reinstall the Bluetooth driver:
Uninstall the existing driver: Open Device Manager → expand the Bluetooth category → right-click the Bluetooth device → select Uninstall device → check "Delete the driver software for this device" → click Uninstall → restart your PC.
Download the official driver: Visit the GEEKOM technical support website, select your product model, and download the official Bluetooth driver for your device.
Install the downloaded driver and restart your PC.
After restarting, check whether the Bluetooth toggle has reappeared in Settings → Bluetooth & devices.
Note: Do not use the "Search automatically for drivers" option in Device Manager, as Windows Update may install a generic driver that is not optimized for your GEEKOM device. Always use the official driver from the GEEKOM support website.
If the driver reinstallation does not resolve the issue, proceed to Section 3.
Section 3: Update BIOS(20 Minutes)
In some cases, a BIOS update can resolve hardware recognition issues, including Bluetooth unavailability, by improving compatibility between the firmware and the wireless network card.
Visit the GEEKOM official website, select your product model, download the latest BIOS file, and follow the update tutorial below:
https://service.geekompc.com/faq/update-bios-ec/
Important: Do not interrupt the BIOS update process once it has started. Ensure your device is connected to a stable power source before proceeding. An interrupted BIOS update may cause the device to become unbootable.
Final Recommendation
GEEKOM devices come with a Bluetooth module as standard. If none of the above methods resolve the issue, it is highly likely a hardware failure. It is recommended to seek assistance from GEEKOM Customer Support.
