Case1:Boots directly into BIOS/UEFI interface
A normally functioning device will automatically load the installed operating system on startup; manual intervention is required to enter the BIOS interface. As shown in the figure below:
If the system automatically enters the BIOS interface on startup,in the vast majority of cases, it typically indicates that the SSD was not detected or that no operating system is present on the SSD.
Solution:
Check the SSD option in the BIOS menu to see if an installed SSD is displayed.
-
If an SSD is already installed but the system on it cannot be accessed, it indicates that the operating system is corrupted and needs to be reinstalled.

SSD Installed (SSD name and specifications are displayed)
System bootloader present in the BOOT Directory
No System Bootloader in BOOT Directory
-
If it shows that no SSD is installed, it indicates that the SSD is damaged and needs to be replaced. It is recommended to contact here: GEEKOM Customer Service
Not installed or SSD not recognized (SSD option shows "Empty").
Case2:Black screen with “No Bootable Device” or “Media Not Found” prompt at the top
When the screen displays this message, there is a high probability that the device cannot access the system files on the SSD, indicating a lost system bootloader. A system reinstallation is required.
As shown in the figure below:
Although you cannot access the original data by booting into the system on the current device, you can remove the internal SSD, install it into a mobile hard drive enclosure, and then connect the enclosure to another computer. You can then access the data on the SSD from that other computer—provided that BitLocker data protection was not enabled on the original system. Otherwise, the original data will be inaccessible.

Case3:Powers on then shuts down automatically
If a device suddenly loses power during operation or use, and the same issue persists upon restarting, it is highly likely due to an abnormal power supply from the adapter.
It is recommended to Contact GEEKOM Customer Service, provide the SN (Serial Number) of the current device along with photos of the power adapter. Customer service will then arrange for a new adapter to be sent to you.
