FUN9 and FUN11 may require multiple attempts to boot normally.

The FUN series products were designed in an earlier period. Their original 500W power supplies were mainly intended for graphics cards of the RTX 30 series and RX 6000 series available at that time. Later high-performance graphics cards impose higher requirements on the power supply’s instantaneous load capacity. Meanwhile, the ATX 3.0/3.1 standards have specifically enhanced support for short-duration power spikes of graphics cards.

If customers later install newer high-performance graphics cards such as the RTX 40 or RTX 50 series, the older power supply may fail to boot, reboot, or cut out due to insufficient rated power, poor transient response, or triggered protection mechanisms. Therefore, it is recommended to first test with a power supply that has adequate wattage and complies with ATX 3.0/3.1 or newer specifications for verification.

In short: If you install newer graphics cards like the RTX 40 series or RTX 50 series on FUN-series devices, we recommend upgrading the power supply at the same time. Prioritize power supplies supporting ATX 3.1 or newer standards to improve tolerance against instantaneous power surges from the graphics card.
