Branch A: Power Supply Issue
If the power indicator light is completely off → this branch applies.
Wrong or faulty power adapter?
Check whether you are using the original GEEKOM power adapter. Non-original adapters may not provide enough power for the Mini PC to start properly. If possible, test with the original adapter.
Damaged power cable or loose connection?
Inspect the power cable and all connection points for damage, looseness, or bent pins. Reconnect the cable firmly at both ends and try powering on again.
Dead wall outlet?
Test the wall outlet with another device to confirm it has power. If the outlet is not working, switch to a different outlet and try again.
Unresponsive power button?
Disconnect the power cable, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to force a full discharge. Reconnect the power and try turning it on again. Also remove all USB devices, docking stations, and other external peripherals before retrying.
Branch B: Display Issue
If the power light is on but the screen stays black → this branch applies.
Loose or faulty HDMI/DisplayPort cable?
Check both ends of the HDMI or DisplayPort cable and make sure they are firmly connected. If the issue continues, try a different cable.
Wrong monitor input source?
Confirm that the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source. If your Mini PC has multiple video output ports, switch to another port and test again.
Faulty monitor?
Try connecting the Mini PC to a different monitor to rule out a display hardware problem.
Branch C: System Startup Issue
If the system powers on and shows a display but is stuck on the startup screen → this branch applies.
BIOS misconfiguration?
Remove all external devices, then restart the Mini PC. During startup, repeatedly press the Del or Delete key to enter BIOS. In BIOS, choose Load Optimized Defaults to restore default settings, then press F4 to save and restart.
Loose RAM module?
If restoring BIOS defaults does not help, check whether the memory module is loose. Power off the device, then carefully remove and reseat the RAM module.
Corrupted system files?
If the device still cannot boot normally, the system files may be damaged. You may need to reinstall the operating system or contact GEEKOM support for further assistance.
Branch D: Overheating or Hardware Fault
If the fan spins but the device shuts down immediately after powering on → this branch applies.
Blocked vents?
Turn off the Mini PC and let it cool for a few minutes. Make sure the ventilation openings are not blocked by dust or nearby objects. Clean dust from the fan and vents if needed, then try starting the device again.
Internal hardware failure?
If the device still shuts down immediately after cooling and cleaning, stop using it and contact GEEKOM support. There may be an internal hardware failure that requires professional service.
If none of the above branches resolve the issue, it is recommended to contact GEEKOM Customer Service for further assistance.
