Disassemble the machine to check whether the HDD module is present. Refer to the complete HDD module example image below to see if any component is missing.
A complete SATA module includes the HDD ribbon cable connector on the motherboard and the HDD interface on the bottom casing.
Solution
- If the GEEKOM official website does not indicate that this model supports HDD, then the current absence of an HDD module is a normal phenomenon.
- The official website indicates that the HDD module is included, but the corresponding installation module is missing from the received unit. This is typically a quality control issue during production. You can directly contact GEEKOM customer service for assistance. Simply provide photographic proof of the missing or damaged HDD module.
