Problem Description
When the A7 MAX is connected to a docking station via both USB‑C ports, it fails to enter sleep mode, even when manually triggered within Windows 11. The A7 MAX runs hot, and the white LED power indicator stays constantly lit. The Windows 11 sleep function does not work properly.
Solution
Some docking stations keep certain devices active after being connected. This issue is more likely to occur when the docking station is further connected to a display, network adapter, USB peripherals and PD power supply. Symptoms include sleep being blocked, immediate wake‑up after entering sleep, or Modern Standby failing to transition into the low‑power state. It is recommended not to connect one docking station through two USB‑C ports simultaneously.
Additional symptom: After clicking Sleep, the LED remains on, the fan keeps spinning, and the unit continues to overheat. This usually indicates a device or driver is preventing the system from entering sleep. Please try updating the graphics driver.
