Q1. Where can I buy the x14/x16 laptop?
This laptop is currently only available on our official websites in Germany and the United States. There are no plans for sales in other regions at this moment. Please check our official website for the latest updates if it becomes available in additional regions in the future.

Q3. What is the difference between the U5 and U9 processors in the laptop?
The Ultra 5 has a TDP power consumption of 28W, while the Ultra 9 has a TDP of 45W with a maximum power consumption of up to 60W. Therefore, the performance of the Ultra 9 is stronger than that of the Ultra 5.
1. In terms of video editing, 3D rendering, or gaming, the Ultra 9 is significantly faster and smoother than the Ultra 5.
2. For simple tasks such as office work, web browsing, and watching videos, the Ultra 5 is completely sufficient, and the Ultra 9 is overkill in terms of performance.
3. The Ultra 9 can run multiple large-scale software simultaneously, while the Ultra 5 will reach its performance limit faster under high load.
Choose U5: Limited budget, daily office work + light creative work / online games, pursuit of battery life and cost-effectiveness.
Choose U9: Sufficient budget, heavy creative work / AI applications, need for the strongest performance and no obsolescence in the next 3–5 years.
Q4. Will the launch of a Series 3 (Panther Lake) processor model anytime soon?
At the moment, we do not have any plans to introduce a Series 3 (Panther Lake) processor model. We will continue to focus on our current product lineup and future developments based on market demand.

Q5. When will the next laptop be released?
Our next new M-series computer is scheduled to be officially launched in mid-to-late May. This model focuses on high cost performance with outstanding cost-effective advantages.

Q1. Can smart charging be set on the laptop, such as setting the battery charge limit to 80%?
No, this feature is not available at present.
Q2. Why doesn't my laptop have a built-in camera?
All of our laptops are equipped with a front camera. Please check if the camera switch on the side is turned on.
Q3. How to set the keyboard backlight to stay on permanently?
Our laptop keyboard backlight only supports 5 brightness levels. It does not support adjusting the backlight timeout duration for now.
Hardware Configuration
Q1. Can I order a laptop with a QWERTY keyboard?
Currently it is not possible to order a laptop with a QWERTY keyboard in Germany. It can only be purchased in the United States, however, the included adapter for units bought in the US is of American standard.
Nevertheless, this type of adapter is universal. You can use your own mobile phone adapter (if compatible) or purchase a compatible one.
Q2. Can the laptop's graphics card be replaced with an NVIDIA graphics card?
No, the laptop uses Intel integrated graphics and does not have NVIDIA graphics card hardware, so it cannot be replaced.
You can achieve this by connecting an external NVIDIA graphics card via eGPU.
Q3. Is there a Nordic keyboard layout version of the GEEKOM GeekBook X14 Pro?
Currently, there is no Nordic Layout version of the GEEKOM GeekBook X14 Pro. The officially sold configurations only include the QWERTZ layout for Germany and the QWERTY layout for the United States.
Q4. Does the laptop have a Thunderbolt 4 interface?
The laptop is not equipped with a Thunderbolt 4 interface; it is fitted with one or two USB 4.0 (40Gbps) interfaces. The USB 4.0 interface is fully compatible with Thunderbolt 4 peripherals and can meet the vast majority of daily usage needs such as high-speed data transmission, video output, and PD charging.

Q5. I lost my power cord for my geekbook- pro x14. Can I buy one anywhere?
The charger specification for our laptop is 65W (20V × 3.25A) PD GaN Fast Charge, USB‑C to USB‑C.
You can purchase a charger with the same specification directly on Amazon and other platforms.
Q6. Can the X14 Pro boot via PXE network using the standard docking station or the optional USB-to-Ethernet adapter?
1. Boot via the standard docking station

Technical Details:
PXE boot runs at the low-level firmware stage before the system loads, so the BIOS must recognize the firmware of the USB Ethernet adapter.
System issues
Q1. The brand-new laptop fails to power on when pressing the power button for the first time.
Possible Causes
- The first boot requires connecting the original power adapter to exit Shipping Mode.
- A non-original power adapter is being used.
- The laptop battery level is too low.
Solutions
- Laptops are set to Shipping Mode at the factory. You need to connect the original official power adapter for the first startup. Please plug in the power adapter included in the package and try turning it on again.
- Please check if the power cord is inserted into the correct charging port and confirm the power indicator light is on. The charging port is usually on the left side of the laptop with an indicator light beside it. Some models support charging on both sides, please refer to your actual device.
- It is recommended to charge the laptop with the original power adapter for more than 30 minutes continuously, then attempt to power it on again.
