Why is Wake on LAN (WOL) disabled by default in the new BIOS version?
The WOL feature is still available. However, to reduce standby power consumption when the system is shut down, prevent unintended wake-up events, and improve compatibility across various system environments, the factory default setting has been changed to disabled. Users who need Wake on LAN can enable it manually in the BIOS and the operating system’s network adapter settings.
