First cold‑boot failure

The GMGT1MEGA has recently experienced power‑on issues. When pressing the power button, the power indicator lights up, yet there is no display output, and the unit clearly fails to boot normally. Only after unplugging and reconnecting the cables on the rear panel and pressing the power button again will video output appear on the monitor.

This is a cold‑boot failure: the device requires a second power‑on attempt to operate properly. This fault is likely memory‑related. On one case, we found that the metal thermal plate of the unit was interfering with the memory module. Applying an insulating material to the metal thermal plate directly above the memory stick resolved the problem.

Verification method: Open the device and remove the metal base plate. Boot the mini PC upside‑down (rubber‑foot side facing up). If the GT1 Mega consistently boots normally without the metal thermal plate installed, this confirms the poor‑contact issue between the memory module and the metal thermal plate. You may apply an insulating tape or plastic film to the metal thermal plate as a fix.
