Issue Description:
1. Registered fingerprints become invalid, fingerprint login is unstable, and in some system startups, fingerprints cannot be recognized at all, with the system prompting for a password that was never set;
2. Sometimes the Windows Hello fingerprint option is grayed out and fingerprint settings cannot be accessed;
Solutions:
- If various fingerprint issues occur, first go to the Device Manager to check whether the fingerprint-related drivers are functioning properly and whether there are any yellow warning icons, which indicate missing drivers. You can download and install drivers from the geekom support website: https://service.geekompc.com/
- If the system is booting Linux, fingerprint functionality is not supported and fingerprints cannot be set.
- The sequence for setting up fingerprints is: Set account password first → Set PIN code → Register fingerprint. Do not skip the preceding steps.
If the issue still persists, please contact geekom customer service and provide your system version and Windows Update history.
