Green screen failures in Windows are quite rare and usually related to the system version.
System failures normally trigger a blue screen. Starting with Windows 11 25H2, blue‑screen crashes have been replaced by a black screen. The green screen is a characteristic error screen exclusive to Windows Insider Preview builds and does not appear on official Windows 11 release versions.
